Outlook 2007, Outlook 2010 freezes when you open Outlook , click on new e mail or when you delete e mails.

Step1:  Outlook in Safe Mode
==========================
Safe Mode will disable all add-ins or extensions that will not start, as well as corrupted resources, files, registries, and templates.

1.        Click Start, and click Run; in the Start Search bar, type: "Outlook /safe" (without the quotation marks) and Click OK.

2.        Please click Tools menu, point to Trust center.

3.        Switch to Add-Ins tab.

4.        At the bottom of the window, choose "COM Add-ins" in the Manage list.

5.        Click Go, and clear all the checkboxes in the COM Add-ins popup window.

6.        To the other items listed in the Manage list, repeat #1-#4 to disable all the add-ins.

7.        Restart Outlook to test the issue again.

Step 2: Create a new profile
=======================

Note: A new Profile is a new environment for us to use Outlook. To create a new Profile is only for a test to see if the problem is related to the corrupt Profile of Outlook. Creating new Profile will not do any damage to the old Profile.

1. On the Start menu, click Control Panel.
2. Click Switch to Classic View, and then click the Mail icon.

3. In the Mail Setup dialog box, click the Show Profiles button.

4. On the General tab, click to select the Prompt for a profile to be used check box.

5. Click Add.

6. In the Profile Name box, type a descriptive name for the new profile, and then click OK.

7. In the E-mail Accounts dialog box, click Add a new e-mail account, and then click Next.

8. Select the appropriate server type for your new e-mail account, and then click Next.

9. Fill in the appropriate information as prompted to configure the account again, and then click Next.

10. Click OK.

11. Restart Outlook and select the new profile in the popup window

Step 3: Clean Boot Mode
============================

Note: You may experience a temporary loss of some services functionality when you follow these steps. When you restore the settings, the functionality will be restored. However, the original error message or behavior may return.

1. Click Start, type msconfig in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER.

Note: If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.

2. On the General tab, click Selective startup.

3. Under Selective Startup, click to clear the Load Startup Items check box.

4. Click the Services tab, click to select the Hide All Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable All.

5. Click OK, and then click Restart.
