When you click on Call feature for a contact in Microsoft Office Outlook 2010 the Dialer window will not pop up.

Resolution:  You have to create a registry Key 

Start > Run > regedit > navigate to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\Outlook\Call Integration

1.            On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.

2.            Type TAPIOVERRIDE, and then press ENTER:

3.            Right-click TAPIOVERRIDE, and then click Modify.

4.            In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK.

5.            On the File menu, click Exit to exit Registry Editor

If you cannot create it manually Copy the text below > open Notepad and save the file with extension by name tapeoveride.reg
